Description:
The J.U.M. Engineering PreFilter® is an
efficient, all heated and low pressure drop filter for removing
solids from a gaseous sample. The Model VE112 utilizes an all
stainless steel filter and an all stainless steel valve in a
thermostatically controlled oven to prevent the loss of high
molecular weight hydrocarbons or condensation of water.
The permanent sample filter is cleaned by
backpurging. A rear adaptor-system allows cold-spot free coupling
of a heated sample line inside the heated oven without the need
for special tools.
The Model VE 112 offers a total of 6 (six)
hot sample outputs making it ideal for use in emission systems. Major
Applications:
- Stack gas hydrocarbon emissions monitoring
- Removing particles from a gaseous sample
- Diesel raw exhaust analysis
- Gasoline raw exhaust analysis
- Stationary diesel engine exhaust analysis
