Non-Methane Hydrocarbon/Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer, Model 109A
 

 

Description:

The J.U.M. Engineering Model 109A Non-Methane Hydrocarbon (NMHC) analyzer is a compact 19" rack mount analysis system using the FID (Flame Ionization Detector) principle. Its modular design allows easy maintenance.

There is no additional sample handling equipment required. The sample pump, the sample filter and all pressure and flow regulating components are built in. All sample wetted parts are operating at a temperature of 463K (374°F / 190°C) or above. To avoid reading errors due to calibration gas pressure-fluctuations the analyzer has an integral calibration gas overflow system before the sample filter.

The Model 109A also features our dual detector/dual electrometer design which provides three continuous, simultaneous signals of:

  • Total Hydrocarbons
  • Methane/Only
  • Total Hydrocarbons less Methane (NMHC)

The permanent heated sample filter is cleaned by backpurging and has a replaceable stainless steel mesh filter disc. A rear adaptor-system allows "cold-spot free" coupling of a heated sample line inside the heated oven without the need of special tools.
